Program Philosophy

Azimuth Social is built on the belief that social connection is essential to a fulfilling adult life. Our services focus on creating opportunities—not requirements—for participation, allowing individuals to engage at their own pace while fostering a sense of belonging, confidence, and joy.

Important Distinction
Azimuth Social:

  • Is not a clinical or day habilitation service
  • Does not replace DDA-funded services
  • Complements day programs by supporting life outside service hours
  • Emphasizes social inclusion, not treatment

Family & Caregiver Communication

Azimuth Social maintains open communication with families and caregivers to ensure clarity around schedules, expectations, and individual support needs while respecting participant independence and privacy.
